A
lot of Paros ferries leave the port of Rafina and Piraeus
every day in the summer. There are also recurrent links
to other islands such as Thessaloniki, Volos, Crete, Tinos,
Syros, Skiathos, Schinousa, Santorini, Rhodes, Naxos, Mykonos,
Koufonisi, Samos, Ios, Ikaria, Anafi, and Amorgos.
Be warned that most, if not all, ferry schedules have a tendency to undergo last-minute changes, so it will be prudent for you to always double-check departure times to avoid scheduling conflicts. You can get updated on the current ferry schedule and daily boat departures from Athens by calling 1440 for automated voice assistance (in Greek) or contacting 210-4220-6000 or 6004.
From the Piraeus port, you can get to Paros within five hours with the classic ferry and two hours and twenty-five minutes with a high-speed ferry at best. To be more precise, the HiSpeed (HS) & Aiolos Ferry typically has three hours travel time, the Blue Star (BS) Ferry usually has four hours travel time, while the Hellas Ferries Conventional (HFC), GA Ferries (GAF), or Ventouris Sea Lines (VSL) have a standard five-hour travel time.
