Aside from land transportation, the island also has small fishing boats that are converted into instant sea vehicles during summertime that help road-weary travelers an alternative and scenic way to get to nearly all the beaches of Paros.

Caïques or centers for taxi boats can be seen on the ports of Naousa and Parikia. From Naousa, the caïque go straight to the beaches of Santa Maria, Monastiri, and Kolimbithres. From Parikia, the taxi boats help you get to the beaches of Krios and Marchello.
